Full check-up (male)

  • Physical review and assessment by the doctor coordinating the check-up, a specialist in Internal Medicine. Report on your life habits, family history and previous pathologies.
  • Blood and urine analysis: exhaustive general profile and study of tumour antigens.
  • PA and lateral thorax x-ray: assesses cardiac or pulmonary pathologies.
  • Abdomen-pelvis ultrasound: shows us the status of different organs: liver, gallbladder, spleen, kidneys, pancreas and urinary tract.
  • Doppler ultrasonography of the supra-aortic trunks: non-invasive study of the carotid and vertebral arteries to analyse the blood flow that supplies the brain.
  • CT Calcium Score: allows us to know the degree of calcification of the coronary arteries.
  • Venous and arterial Doppler ultrasonography of the lower extremities: allows us to study veins and arteries throughout their journey in order to detect and prevent varicose veins, thrombi and other pathologies of the circulatory system.
  • Densitometry: measures the density of calcium in bones.
  • Electrocardiogram: gives us a record of the electrical activity of the heart and detects different pathologies, such as growth of the cardiac cavities or alterations in the rhythm of the heart.
  • Echocardiogram: analyses the size and function of the heart, the state of the valves and the passage of blood through them in order to diagnose heart diseases.
  • Ergometry (stress test): analyses the heart’s response to exercise and maximum effort. The pulse, tension and electrical activity of the heart are measured while the patient walks on a treadmill. It allows us to detect pathologies like anginas and arrhythmias.
  • Spirometry: assesses the pulmonary function and allows early detection of alterations in lung function.
  • Consult with a specialist in ophthalmology: visual and optical tests for the early detection of glaucoma, cataracts and other pathologies.
  • Consult with a specialist in otorhinolaryngology: review of hearing and the upper respiratory tract, performance of audiometry and fibrescopy. The purpose is to measure hearing ability and to detect possible diseases.
  • Consult with a specialist in urology: physical exploration and flowmetry in order to detect and prevent the development of diseases of the urinary system, especially the prostate.
  • Final consultation with the coordinating doctor: general assessment of the tests and indication of the actions required based on the results. Subsequently, the patient will receive a file of the explorations with the detailed final report and the recommendations to follow.
